CRES （Cognitive Research for Exploratory Search）とは †
（通称:クレス）という名称で、
「認知科学的アプローチ」「Exploratory Search」などをキーワードにした
共同研究プロジェクトです。
CRESプロジェクトでは、
Web上の利用者の情報探索行動や認知プロセスに着目した研究を行っています。
利用者実験の手法に基づき、利用者のWeb上の画面遷移映像、
閲覧WebページのURL、眼球運動、発話、事後インタビュー
などを記録して分析を進めています。
国立情報学研究所の公募型研究（テーマ：探索型検索システムに関する認知的研究）に参加しています。
